Research experience *

Early stage researcher
means a researcher in the first 4 years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers, including the period of research training, starting at the date of obtaining the degree which would formally entitle him/her to embark on a doctorate either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the mobility activities are provided, irrespective whether or not a doctorate is envisaged.

Experienced researcher
means a researcher 1) already in possession of a doctoral degree, independently of the time taken to acquire it or 2) having at least 4 years of research experience (full-time equivalent) after obtaining the degree which formally allows him/her to embark on a doctorate in the country in which the degree/diploma was obtained or in the country where the activities under the project are carried out.

Research plan

Write a plan to describe your secondment's research, training, and networking activities. Avoid jargon, acronyms, and highly technical phrases. The text should be proportional to the secondment length but at least 300 words. See an example of a plan.

Address each point, in the same order, in your plan:

Explain the link between one task of GEOCEP and your scientific contribution during the secondment. Refer to the work package and tasks of the project.
Outline your plans for achieving your research contribution. Describe the theory, the research problem, the method, the data, the contribution. etc.
List scientific outputs related to the secondment that you promise to deliver by indicating the working title and its (tentative) publication outlet. Outputs can be a journal article, a working paper, the chapter of a dissertation, a conference paper, etc. We recommend sending manuscripts to journals enlisted in the Web of Science.
Justify the choice of the host institution and the persons with whom you intend to cooperate, at least your sponsor at the host institution.
List courses and seminars in which you intend to participate at the host institution. Please name the activity such as Seminar on Energy Economics at the Economic Department.

Note

I will acknowledge the financial support by the European Commission in all my scientific outputs related to the secondment by including the mandatory acknowledgement.

I will made my scientific publications available in open access, in either green (free) or gold (paid), within two years after the publication, according to a European Commission's requirement.

Personal data protection The personal data collected with this form aims at reporting the secondment into the Grant Management system of the European Commission. The coordinator of the project only collects data that is necessary to this aim. It does it in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. The data will be kept for five years after the end of the project on 1 October 2020. The data can only be consulted by the coordinator of the project, the Research Executive Agency of the European Commission, and by an Auditor of the European Commission. The data will not be stored or transferred outside of the European Union.
