Host institution

Arrange the support with the host institution

The host institution provides GEOCEP visitors with a standard support and conditions which they usually provide to visiting PhD students or researchers.

Moreover, the host institution provides support in the legal procedure related to the secondment, in particular, the procedures to obtain a working permit in the host country and all other immigration procedures applicable.

The host institution is not obligated to provide housing to the seconded researcher. They may nonetheless help the researcher in finding one. Seconded researchers are solely responsible for arranging their accommodation during their stay. 

Each seconded researcher must arrange for an appropriate health/travel insurance for the whole period of his mobility.
